2 tsp10mLroasted garlic paste
1 : Prepare simple white sauce as directed and stir in roasted garlic paste. Serve with chicken, fish, pork or beef.
To roast garlic, cut top off a whole head of garlic and drizzle with ½ tsp (2mL) olive oil and salt to taste. Wrap tightly in foil and roast in oven or barbeque at 400°F (220°C) for 20 minutes or until soft. Let cool and squeeze out cloves. Mash with fork.
