Yet it is he, the leader of the Libertines that made generations of fans dream. Singer Pete Doherty, 42, has in fact made an incredible transformation, not just physical.
Accustomed to always seeing him with a studied unkempt air and a unique style, he fully embodied the spirit and the image of a rock star.
Not least, to build around his person an aura of mystery had contributed to his relationships, especially the one with the model Kate Moss. For years Doherty had made no secret of his addiction to drugs, which have had a major impact both in the private and professional spheres.

The singer’s past
Born in 1979 in the UK, Pete Doherty made a breakthrough in the mid-nineties with the band The Libertines together with his friend Carl Barât.
Over the years, he has risen to prominence several times for his own judicial troubles mainly caused by the constant drug use and several times he has attempted detoxification paths.
In 2003 the first son, Astile Louis, was born. At the same time as his engagement with The Libertines, in 2004 he also founded the band Babyshambles.
A scandal was also his tumultuous relationship with the supermodel Kate Moss, met in 2005. The Doherty-Moss couple has made many fans dream like the one formed by Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love. Years later he also dedicated a song on Youtube entitled to the model Bohemian Love. In 2009 Doherty released his first solo album and two years later became a father for the second time. In 2016 he founded another band, i Puta Madres, in which it is currently active.
