Known to all for taking part in the historical television series “Lost”, Henry Ian Cusick made his way starting his career in the theater and then moving on to film and television.

Henry Ian Cusick (born April 17, 1967 in Trujillo) is a British actor.
Growing up with a Peruvian mother and a Scottish father, he grew up perfectly bilingual, thus knowing both Spanish and English. He immediately recognizes hers passion for acting and so he enrolled in the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and then joined the company of the Glasgow Citizens Theater.
Here he gets his firsts important parts in works of great historical value including “The Portrait of Dorian Gray” and Shakespeare’s famous work “Hamlet”.
He also plays historical characters such as Torquato Tasso or Creon, earning more and more attention from critics.
The beginning of a career in the theater
His path to the theater he proceeds for some time and in fact there are numerous parts he plays. He gets the part of Demetrius in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Cassio in Othello for the Toyal Shakespeare Company.
Later he takes part in works of great value in the industry including “The Birthday Party”, “The Dying Gaul” and “Angels in America”.
The success between small and big screen
After the journey to the theater, a series of projects for cinema and television. He begins with the role of Jesus in “The Gospel of John” which narrates the events extrapolated from “The Gospel of John”. He then gets the part of Gareth Heldman in “Inspector Barnaby” and of Dr. Talbot in “2000 Acres for Sky”.
It then gets parts as real protagonist for a film produced by Robert Degus and later in “Half Light” alongside the great Demi Moore. However, one of the most successful roles is undoubtedly that of Desmond Hume in well-known television series “Lost”, “Scandal” and “The 100”.
