Christopher Robert Evans (born June 13, 1981) is an American actor.
He grew up with his family in a small town in Massachusetts where he attended school, and then moved to New York where he enrolled at the Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute. It approaches the entertainment world first as a model for Hasbro’s “Mystery Date” game, and then entered the world of cinema with the new millennium.
He made his debut in 2000 with “The Newcomers”, a James Allen Bradley film followed by numerous other projects. In addition to another film he also gets parts on television by participating in episodes of series such as “Opposite Sex” or “The Fugitive” or “Boston Public”. His first major film, however, is “The Perfect Score” alongside the great Scarlett Johansson. In this period of initiation into cinematography he also met the actress Jessica Biel with whom he enters into a relationship.

To give him great success are undoubtedly the superheroes. In fact, it gets great visibility through the role ofTorch Man in “Fantastic Four” also getting along with the rest of the actors, including Jessica Alba, Michael Chicklis and Ioan Gruffudd, the Best Group Performance Award at the MTV Movie Awards. This project is followed by another, “Fantastic 4: The Silver Surfer” nominated for the Scream Awards and the Teen Choice Awards.
In 2010 he then obtained the part of Captain America in the movie “Captain America – The First Avenger” with which he begins to be identified over the next decade. This part also allows him to participate in “The Avengers”, the film in which all the Marvel superheroes are present including Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Hemsworth. The film gets huge positive reviews by audiences and critics and becomes part of one of the highest-grossing films of all time.

Later he also took part in the film “Thor: The Dark World” and in “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” returning to collaborate with Scarlett Johansson. Maintains the iconic role also for the films “Avengers: Age of Ultron”, “Captain America: Civil War”, “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Avengers: Endgame”. The latter managed to beat the proceeds of the previous one by obtaining over 2 billion dollars.
Among his successes, however, we remember the projects that distance him from the role of superhero such as his participation in “The Iceman” taking over from James Franco as Robert Pronge alongside Winona Ryder and Michael Shannon. In 2013 he got the part of Curtis in the film “Snowpiercer” became famous thanks also to the French comic series and several years later he starred in “Gifted”, a drama in which he plays an uncle struggling with a gifted niece in his care.
