Who is Sarah Gadon
Sarah Lynn Gadon was born in Toronto April 4, 1987. In his family there is his father a psychologist, his mother a teacher and his older brother James. He spends much of his childhood and adolescence training (and performing) as dancer. Study at the National Ballet School of Canada and the Claude Watson School of Performing Arts. In 2014 he completed the film studios at the University of Toronto.
As stated by herself, her parents made her appreciate films since she was a child, from Wizard of Oz to The Godfather.
A passion that comes from afar, because even her English grandparents are cinephiles, while her Italian grandparents introduced her to the cinema of the Bel Paese, such as Bike thieves.
Sarah Gadon: career
She began her career at a very young age, appearing in numerous TV series from 1998: Nikita, Are you afraid of the dark?, Doc, In a Heartbeat – The ER guys, My life with Derek, Mutant X and many others.
It then manages to assert itself on the big screen, taking part in films such as Fast Food High (2003), Charlie Bartlett (2007), Leslie, my name is evil (2009). His career took off, appearing in numerous successful films and covering various roles: A dangerous method (2011), Cosmopolis (2012) and Maps to the stars (2014). In 2015 she plays a young Queen Elizabeth, still a princess in the aftermath of the Second World War in One night with the Queen. In the meantime, she continues to juggle between small and large screens and to work as a voice actress.
Very versatile, in 2021 it covers a whole new role: a place in jury at the 78th Venice Film Festival, with Bong Joon Ho, Saverio Costanzo, Virginie Efira, Chloé Zhao, Alexander Nanau, Cynthia Erivo.

Very reserved about her personal life, Sarah has been in a relationship with the director Matthew Hannam, spending a lot of time with him in foreign cities to shoot the film Paseo.
