Deep black eyes, fascinating and mysterious: these are just some of the advantages of Vhelade Bale Mura, talented singer appreciated by the Italian public and beyond. The timbre of her velvety voice sets her apart from many colleagues and enchants the crowd.
From his debut with Piero Chiambretti his career took off.
Who is Vhelade
Born in 1985, daughter of art of a Zairian father and a Sardinian mother, Vhelade was born and raised in Milan. Music seems to have it in his blood: his father is a blues and afro musician, choreographer and singer, while his mother, an event organizer, is passionate about electronic music. Since childhood she has shown a great passion for solfeggio, piano and classical dance, and she also delights in the circus.
As a teenager, his soulful soul emerged, and at the age of fifteen he began working as a full-time singer in a traveling American gospel group. He immediately realizes that this is his path, but in any case he does not abandon his studies.
The beginnings
In 2004 he began his television adventure in the program of Piero Chiambretti Markette. She is actually taken to make an appearance, and at first she pretends to sing. But with courage she informs the host of her talent, starting to sing, for real, on the show. For her this opportunity is a valid school: she sings the opening and closing themes and also her songs within the program. After 10 years alongside Chiambretti, in 2014, conquers an artistic autonomy, reinterpreting Sade’s songs and putting himself to the test with the classics of international music with “Vhelade Super Cover”. At the same time he forms his first blues band and collaborates with various musicians of the Italian and European underground music scene, giving life to some experimental projects which range from soul funk, groove and jazz swing.
The years after Chiambretti
After the long school with Chiambretti Vhelade decides to abandon the program: he wants to create his own projects, to try to express who he is in the best possible way. In 2017 she released her first album, where she lays bare herself through a story made of emotions and personal experience: she is born AfroSarda. A sweet introspective and autobiographical journey into the most intimate dimension of the artist, whose intent is to pay homage to his origins, Sardinia and Zaire, the two souls of his being to which he is viscerally linked. In addition to tours in Europe, America and Asia, and other successful singles such as Pas d’Excuse and Oro Nero, Vhelade has also tried her hand in the role of an actress, starring in Devil comes to Koko ed Average Italian.
The authentic style
His voice, robust and bursting, explicitly refers to the sound of Stevie Wonder and Miles Davis, but also to the pop rhythms of Michael Jackson, which she herself claims is her idol. Vhelade, still very young, has already shown that he has his own unique personality and that he wants to deserve success. After the opportunity offered by Chiambretti she wanted to walk alone, trying to make it without being on anyone’s shoulders. She is not a fan of talent shows and preferred to follow a path starting from the bottom without immediately reaching the limelight. His well-deserved achievements are only the result of his hard work and his great talent.
