Who is Rupert Everett
Actor Rupert Everett was born in Norwich, England on May 29, 1959 into a wealthy family.
At fifteen he realizes that his future is in acting. He decides to subscribe to the Central School of Speech and Drama in London, where he will study for only two years: he is in fact expelled due to quarrels with the teachers. Despite this, he continues to study and in 1984, at the age of twenty-five, he becomes famous for his role in the film Another Country – The choice. He works alongside illustrious Italians such as Ornella Muti, Sophia Loren and Marcello Mastroianni and is directed by director Francesco Rosi in the film Chronicle of a death foretold.
In the nineties it becomes a real sex symbol.
The success of the romantic comedy also contributed to this ‘label’ My best friend’s Wedding, in which he stars alongside Julia Roberts.
He then acts in the film The importance of being Ernest with Colin Firth, based on a work by Oscar Wilde.
Fifteen years later, in 2018, he will play the English poet in the film The Happy Prince – Oscar Wilde’s last portrait for which he is also a director.

Private life and curiosity
In Italy Rupert Everett is also known for having inspired the features of the famous nightmare investigator Dylan Dog, the comic created by the pen of Tiziano Sclavi. In fact, the English actor played another Sclavi character, Francesco Dellamorte, in the film Of the death of love.
Everett in the past has had relationships with various stars such as Uma Thurman and Paula Yates. He publicly declared his homosexuality. He has lived happily for over eleven years with his partner, whose name is unknown.
