Who is Marracash
Marracash, stage name of Fabio Bartolo Rizzo (Nicosia, 22 May 1979), is an Italian rapper and record producer. With his janitor mother and truck driver father, he leaves for Milan with his brother after being born in the Sicilian city. It grows in Barona, a neighborhood on the outskirts of Milan adapting to one modest lifestyle. He spends his childhood in a railing house dividing homes that are too small for the number of tenants.
He finishes school with the title of electronic expert ma his real dream is to work with music so he decides to make pieces under the name of Juza delle Nuvole.
Make the first demo in 1999 along with some names that later became the greats of the rap world such as Guè Pequeno and Jake La Furia. He subsequently chooses to change his pseudonym, opting for what has been his distinctive trait for years, namely the dark complexion easily attributable to Arab origins. He officially made his debut in 2004 with “PMC VS Club Dogo – The Official Mixtape” made precisely with Club Dogo. The following year he made the single “Popular” who launches the mixtape “Roccia Music I” recorded and produced together with great colleagues.

His first great solo album, released with Universal, came out in 2008 and bears his name. Through this project he has the opportunity to make himself known by carrying on the historical collaborations with colleagues Guè, J-Ax, Jake La Furia and many others. Among his songs “Badabum Cha Cha” immediately becomes one summer hit hugely successful, followed by “Summer in the city”. Subsequently he participates in the project organized by the artists in support of the earthquake in Abruzzo ma he also dedicates himself to new features like the one with Giusy Ferreri or Fabri Fibra.
Just a few years after the release of the first album, Marracash made the third: King of rap. The album sees the participation of numerous artists and is a huge success to the point that it gets the conducting the first episode of MTV Spit and manages to found his own record label. In 2016 Marracash announces the release of a new album, this time entirely made with colleague and friend Gué Pequeno. “Santeria” it then came out in June of the same year and the two achieved great success especially with the songs “Nulla Happens”, “Insta Lova” and “Salvador Dali”. After great success of this project he publishes, exactly ten years later, the reworking of his first album with the collaboration of other artists. Continue to participate in numerous musical projects while making his fifth album released in 2019: Persona.
In 2019, however, the rapper does not only release a very successful album. In fact, he announces an equally positive news to fans waiting for confirmation: his love story with Elodie. The singer who left Amici seems to have allowed him to to know a healthy and strong love, different from those in the past.
