Protagonist at the Sanremo Festival, Francesca Michielin immediately won us over for the song but also for the new haircut. Behind which lies a beautiful story that we tell you here
The Sanremo Festival is an opportunity for artists to bring creativity and skill to the stage. The Ariston stage is, however, also the best place to inaugurate a new look; It is the case of Francesca Michielin who chose the first evening of the Festival to show off an unusual haircut. L’hair cut of the singer, who performed paired with Fedez with the song “Call me by name”, he left the fans speechless. Francesca said goodbye to her very long hair and opted for a blunt cut (passed with full marks): a helmet with a sharp and clean line and with even, full and full-bodied tips by Cotril, also perfect in our Sanremo report cards on armocromia and in haircut trends for spring summer 2020.
Francesca Michelin and the new haircut
Free of scaling and unevenness, this one original bob does not go beyond the chin. Very versatile – this is its strong point – it easily matches any face shape or hair type. The styling is smooth with the tips pointing naturally upwards, slightly wet and embellished with one very low and deep line that highlights the face. Behind this “clean cut” of the singer, however, there is something more at stake than a simple one revolution in look which intrigued the public, journalists included. After her first performance, in fact, the artist was inundated with questions about the reason for this drastic choice. Interviewed by Radio 2, Francesca – during the chat with Gino Castaldo, Andrea Delogu and Ema Stokholma – said she “cut her hair to give it to the women who have lost it. I decided to do this because I had become Pocahontas. New life”. Chapeau!
