Before going into the Cram diet, let’s try to understand what are the characteristics of the diet which inspired it, the Brat diet. How the Cram Diet Works. We start in the morning with a glass of apple juice to fill up on mineral salts. Together with the juice you can consume two wholemeal rusks and a glass of milk. For lunch, eat white rice seasoned with a pinch of ginger and lemon, while for dinner you can eat wholemeal pasta with extra virgin olive oil and basil. The apple, cooked or raw, should be eaten as a snack. If you prefer, you can drink a glass of semi-skimmed, lactose-free milk if you are intolerant.
