Luca Bizzarri has shown that he knows how to move skillfully between cinema and television, always maintaining his distinctive ironic note. With a long career behind him alongside his colleague and friend Paolo Kessisoglu, here is the story of the great Italian actor and conductor.
Who is Luca Bizzarri
Luca Bizzarri (Genoa, 13 July 1971) is an Italian actor known especially for being part of the well-known duo Luca and Paolo. He discovered the world of theater at a very young age by joining Gilberto Govi’s theater company when he was only 15 years old where he made his debut with “Pignasecca and Pignaverse”. He later attended an acting school of Stable Theater of Genoa where he graduated in 1994. Here he takes part in some tragedies including “Hamlet”, “Richard III” and “Ivanov”.
While he continues to collaborate with various theater companies, he knows what will become his historical colleague: Paolo Kessisoglu.
The two participate in the founding of the group “Rotten horses” who, through their cabaret shows, will get noticed in the show “Ciro, the son of Target”. In 1998 they decide to leave the group and continue as a comic duo, making their debut in the world of cinema with “And then mambo!” followed by “Tandem”.

They make skeths and parodies during the trip and in the places where they stay. The program turns out to be a winner and is therefore renewed for four editions and the format moves to Spain.
He was subsequently entrusted with the management of “Le Iene”, the well-known Italia 1 program, together with a female figure that varies over the years passing through Alessia Marcuzzi, Cristina Chiabotto and Ilary Blasi. In 2003, his projects are added what will probably make him get more fame: Camerà Cafe. The sitcom, inspired by the French format, is set in front of a company’s coffee machine and sees Luca in the role of an employee and trade unionist struggling with different situations with his colleagues (including Paolo).
