Giorgio Faletti (Asti, November 25, 1950 – Turin, July 4, 2014) was an Italian actor, writer and songwriter. It grows in a humble and modest environment Together with the peddler father and the seamstress mother. He has the opportunity to replicate the experience by also obtaining the Critics’ Prize and making himself loved by his colleagues who often choose him as a lyricist and composer of their pieces.

In addition to writing the lyrics of numerous pieces of music, he also devotes himself to the creation of his first book and stages a theatrical performance. He also acts in successful films such as “Night before exams” with which he obtained a nomination for the David di Donatello as best supporting actor for the role of Professor Antonio Martinelli.
In 2008 he also achieved literary success with his first collection of short stories entitled “Few useless hiding places” which won him the Piero Chiara Prize. He always alternates this passion with that for acting which leads him to take part in “Baarìa” by Giuseppe Tonatore.
