The agreement between Netflix and Archewell Productions
Harry and Meghan also on Netflix with theirs Archewell Productions and a $ 150 million deal. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed an agreement with Netflix to stream the preparation of athletes for the next Invictus Games scheduled for 2022 in The Hague, the Netherlands. The production house of Harry and Meghan, the Archewell Production, thus starts its first project in streaming.
The Invictus Games are the para-Olympic games with different disciplines, conceived by Prince Harry and organized through his Invictus Games Foundation.

The details of the “Heart of Invictus” series
The Dukes’ first streaming project provides a Netflix docu-series which will resume the preparation of athletes for Invictus Games. The athletes are all war veterans who have suffered permanent physical damage during their period of military service and developed disabilities.
In addition to Netflix, the series will also be visible on SkyQ. Prince Harry has taken care of every detail, preferring great professionals to collaborate with. The directors, for example, of the docu-series will be Orlando von Ensiedel and Johanna Natasegara. The two directors were awarded the Oscars in 2017 for the documentary The White Helmets.
Harry himself has given interviews in which he expresses his positive expectations on the realization and broadcasting of the project. The directors will document the athletes’ preparation for the yokes but this will give the spectators the opportunity to participate in an introspection into the lives of these people. The sports competition has already reached its fourth edition, which took place in Sydney in 2018. The protagonist edition of the series will therefore be the fifth that should have taken place in 2020 but has been postponed due to the pandemic. Some sources reveal that Harry will almost certainly appear in the series. The Duchess Meghan seems not to, or at least there is still no equally certain information about it.
What are the Invictus Games
The Invictus Games were created by Prince Harry as a sporting event in which war veterans who have contracted disabilities compete. It seems that the idea of para-olympic games came to Harry during his attendance as a spectator at the Colorado Warrior Games. The first edition of the Invictus Games was held in London in 2014.
The city welcomed the event with great energy and positivity. The confirmation of this was also the predisposition of the then mayor Boris Johnson to the immediate realization of the event. The project is, year by year, entirely followed by Invictus Games Foundation which decides the disciplines in which athletes must compete and also the nations to be invited to participate in the event. The current schedule of the sporting event is set until 2023 which will see the Invictus Games take place in Germany in Dusseldorf.
