Who is Mara Maionchi
The record producer Mara Maionchi was born in Bologna on April 22, 1941.
She soon dropped out of school, later declaring that she was not an excellent student. He then began to have various work experiences, including in a pesticide company and a shipping company. In 1967 he began working in the world of discography, precisely for the label Ariston Records. Here he works, among others, with the likes of Ornella Vanoni and Mino Reitano. Two years later Mara goes to work as a press officer for the record company Number one, founded by Lucio Battisti and Mogol.
During her career as a record producer she worked for important labels and he discovered real talents of Italian music: Gianna Nannini and Mango among others. He also worked alongside Mia Martini, Fabrizio De Andrè and Umberto Tozzi, contributing to the success of their career.

Private life and curiosity
As for his private life, in 1976 Mara Maionchi marries the lyricist and record producer Alberto Salerno, son of Nicola Salerno. Together they had two daughters: the eldest daughter Giulia was born in 1977 while the second, Camilla, was born in 1981. Maionchi has three grandchildren: Nicolò, Mirtilla and Margherita.
